Balanced Development: Support growth that respects the rural areas and farm land, keys to our small town character of Ward 11.

Infrastructure Keeps Pace: Ensure roads, utilities, public services grow alongside and aligned with responsible new developments; like assisting the gas station project on Regional Road 56 to expedite.

Community Consultation: Engage residents early in planning decisions to reflect their priorities, needs, and concerns.

Responsible Spending: Ensure sure tax dollars are spent wisely on projects that benefit residents and not failing or doomed money pits.

Empower and hold both City staff and contractors accountable: Through clear expectations, thoughtful proactive planning, and responsible oversight. Strong project procurement, monitoring, and practices must be in place at a stronger level to mitigate delays, prevent cost overruns, and ensure responsible use of public resources. The City must support and demand competence to deliver the level of public service residents were promised.

Transparent Decision Making and Open Communication: I will ensure that every decision made at City Hall is clear and accessible to residents to the best of my ability, with detailed explanations of why choices are made, how funds are allocated, and how these decisions impact our community. I believe in regular updates, open meetings, town halls, and direct, clear communication.
